A NICU stay is a life-altering experience. You’d be hard-pressed to find a NICU parent who didn’t still feel the effects of their ordeal even years later. We at Hand to Hold are proud and honored to be able to provide support to these families in their journeys through the NICU and beyond. Watch the video below to hear firsthand how Hand to Hold serves as a vital lifeline when parents are overcome by the challenges of preterm birth.

As 2016 draws to a close, we at Hand to Hold are asking you, our readers, supporters, those who have received support, and fellow NICU parents to make a donation to our year-end campaign. Your gift will ensure that families like Whitney’s receive the vital support needed during and after a NICU stay.

Thanks to a generous Matching Gift Challenge, your #HandtoHold gift will go twice as far! An anonymous donor has agreed to match all gifts DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR, up to $10,000, for a grand total of $20,000 to support our work to help NICU families nationwide.

Your tax-deductible gift today ensures more NICU families have access to vital support systems to navigate the weeks, months, and even years ahead, and will be used to:

  • Operate our toll-free support hotline;
  • Match and train peer mentors;
  • Provide educational resources including bereavement support;
  • Manage our online communities, including our upcoming podcast;
  • Host in-hospital recognition and holiday events – and more!

Give today in honor of those you love who have been affected by prematurity. The NICU is a life-altering experience, and every family deserves the opportunity for support through this difficult time.
