The NICU was a terrible shock to me after the birth of my 27-weeker.  It would have been a huge help to me to have been familiar with even one aspect of life with a new preemie baby.  Did you have the opportunity to tour the NICU before you delivered your preemie?  If so, were you glad for the chance or did it make you more anxious?

Blessed mommy of a 21w2d angel, a 27w3d preemie toddler, and a 40w2d overdue miracle. I love being a SAH mommy to my adorable girls, I love my husband, and I love life!
