Hand to Hold's Official Blog: Written by Parents for Parents

{Giveaway} Love & Hope in the NICU

Love and Hope in the NICU by Cassandra MelhuishIf you are a NICU parent or have a NICU baby in your life, this giveway is for you.  Fellow preemie mother Cassandra Melhuish has authored a beautiful, inspirational gift book to offer encouragement, love and hope to NICU families. She knows from firsthand experience how deeply traumatic any NICU stay can be. Her son Dylan, now in elementary school and doing well, was born at 29 weeks gestation and spent six months in the NICU.

She explains why she wrote this book:

“…I decided to create this inspirational gift book for NICU parents and family members …because the NICU journey is filled with overwhelming information you need to know. But I wanted parents and family members to also have a reference they could turn to and remember what the journey is all about …LOVE & HOPE. I want it to be a comfort to you that you may not have because most people do not know what to say to you during this time in your life.”

As one of this book’s first supporters, Hand to Hold is excited to giveway five copies of this sweet book.

  6. My son is now 8 and was 1 pound at birth…it still seems like yesterday. Thank you for writing this book.
